Peace through Pie would like us to continue the tradition of the power of pie to broaden awareness of community, learning to question our preconceptions, and embracing the power of cuisine as a connector to achieving a whole-life balance that strengthens our emotional and physical wellbeing. Organize your own pie gathering to foster community development and encourage story sharing and learning through the engagement with recipes, traditions, cooking, art-making, and the delight of sweet and savory pies from around the world. 


Peace through Pie, happens at the time of year we might need some uplift, delicious joy, and collective light. Founded to celebrate Martin Luther King and his love of pie, Peace through Pie partners with schools, diverse faith groups, businesses, and community organizations, to create programs and experiences that build and support a peacemaking culture through the creation, eating and meeting around pie.
