CREATIVE-IN-RESIDENCE
The Creative-In-Residence (CIR) aims to connect creatives, artists, and makers and those that aspire to be or use creative and artistic community measures to be a catalyst for new learnings and possibilities. This residency originated with the New Haven Public Libary during the world's most tenuous time in recent times and offered the opportunity to share skills and knowledge through workshops and classes, to experimenting with a new idea in a public context, and/or to create and implement a collective community project contributing to growing Ives Squared and creative culture beyond New Haven facilitated by the wonders of virtual connection. ART & PLAY
Art and human beings have historically been linked; This is why art is understood as a social vital. Covid has shown us that without the arts, this tenuous time was made bearable. Creative and artistic manifestations are expressions that use a multitude of resources, allow people to illuminate their ideas, emotions, and perceptions of society. We are all creative creatures and spiritually orchestrated to be manifesting at all moments. Frequently we hear the term manifesting in association with things like abundance, money, luxury, and sometimes mundane matters like parking spaces and free cups of coffee. Fundamentally manifesting is about directing and managing energy. When we’re implementing it consciously, we’re actively declaring straightforward intentions and doing the essential inner and outer growth work to make ourselves a match to that vibration or our desires whatever they may be. One of the most empowering notions we can do is learn to consciously direct our creative and artistic energy to manifest what we choose.

Through our signature programs Co-Create, Art and Manifestation, and Cooking and Carthisis, Artist Nadine Nelson and her team lead multidisciplinary creative and art manifestation exercises, activities, and interventions using the body, mind, and soul to bring forth inspiration and our abstract ideas into reality.
